Shaun, did you want to buy that unit for yourself at any point?
I could EASILY live there with my family. Very happily. ;-)
Honestly, that space should be rented out as an experience!
@Shaun, can I ask if you live in Manhattan?
Anything like that in Canada?
We have a Real Estate Board of NY and we all cooperate with each other.
I'll let you answer @Laurent's and @OttawaRealtor's questions, but I guess we could find something like that in Canada, though it wouldn't be overlooking Manhattan!
They call Hoboken (New Jersey) the sixth borough. Brooklyn, especially Williamsburg, has many great opportunities right now.
I was just in Williamsburg - there's not a single person there over 30!!
And LOTS of beautiful typical lofts
Young, energetic, artistic, and creative!
@Laurent, it sounds like lots is going on in Montreal! Good to hear...was not always the case
I will have to take a trip there to see it. I am always interested in seeing what everyone else is doing in other parts of the world. I might need a warmer coat though.
Ha, yes indeed. The cranes are blocking up the Toronto sky line, completely solid!
Our new builds are out of control in numbers
I fear the infrastructure won't be able to handle all the density!
Hoboken has the NJ Path train, which is a breeze into Manhattan. The NYC subway system is the best in the world, and Williamsburg to downtown is 10 minutes. Not a bad commute at all.
I'm originally from South Africa, so I'm not sure if I will EVER be used to it.
I go to NYC quite often, and on the whole, it's usually warmer there than TO
Every detail in the place is amazing. The kitchen, bathrooms, ceiling heights, floors.
That cupola wants you too. Make me an offer we can't refuse!
We definitely had a bursting bubble, but the recovery has started - with a vengance.
hmm..... five Canadian dollar and limitless live blogging for CORE?
I am enjoying this live blogging. I love technology!
No disrespect -- it's all i have to my name! Since I went to NYC recently and spent everything I have at BARNEYS!!!
That's not difficult to do.....
Oh I call Barneys the 'alter at which I pray'... so yes, it sure isn't hard.
Shaun will be back next week! Right?
And then we have the Kleiers for the finale!
I'll be here next week. Same time. But I am also on my blog www.coretalks.com every day blogging about my NYC experiences.
Come back next week @Ottawa Realtor
thanks for that Shaun. It was so great of you to make time for us.
Thanks for the feedback OttawaRealtor. I'll gladly chat.
We'll see you all next week?
Thanks everyone! See you next week.
